DO WE REALLY WANT TO EAT WHAT WE HUG???

Age is irrelevant when it comes to hugging and snuggling with our favorite soft stuffed animal buds. Come to think of it, why do we do this? Where did the idea originate? Why Animals? Why certain kinds of animals?

The modern stuffed toy first took its place on shop shelves in the 1880s. Margarete Steiff made a “stuffed elephant” from a pattern in a magazine. She sold these as pincushions, but children began playing with them instead. So, she began the famous teddy bear brand we know as Steiff and increased her variety of stuffed animals to cats, pigs, and dogs. Teddy bears didn’t come along until 1902 when thanks to Teddy Roosevelt, a stuffed bear was made based upon his actions on a hunting expedition.

Let’s pose this question: Why would we kill something that we love, admire, and experience an awe for it? Even the pros at Caring For All Beings are stumped in being able to answer this question. How about you? Got any answers? How do we stop the killing, the eating, the stuffing, the wearing, the sporting involved with the destruction of animals? Pass it on; maybe someone will come up with the answer and the solution. Thanks a Bee Hive Bunch!!!
